WHEG LLC Pivots to Television with New Series “Bounty”

DeSoto, Texas Apr 9, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - Media company WHEG LLC today announced its expansion into television with the upcoming release of its new series Bounty. Previously focused on radio, WHEG LLC pivoted its business model in response to changes brought on by COVID-19 and now aims to bring entertaining and thought-provoking content to viewers.  

Bounty follows five unlikely friends - Tiana, Saphira, Chris, Valentino and Stacy - who come together to capture dangerous criminals who have evaded traditional law enforcement. Full of twists and turns, Bounty explores relationships, identity and overcoming adversity. 

Were thrilled to be releasing our first television series, said Derryl Williams, CEO of WHEG LLC. Though 2020 brought many challenges, it also gave us the opportunity to reimagine our business and try new avenues for connecting with audiences. We hope Bounty brings entertainment and joy to viewers.

Starring in Bounty are:

• Ammie Masterson as Tiana Massey: Former CIA agent and now head of the newest fugitive recovery team in Texas. Masterson is known for her role in Better Call Saul. 

• Joe T Baker III as Valentino: An established bounty hunter who is the muscle and laughter of the team. Baker has made a name for himself on TikTok.

• Brittanie Jones as Saphira: The beautiful socialite of the group who keeps her ears to the streets. Jones aka Fineapple Vegan is a vegan influencer, chef and author. 

• Cliff Dean as Chris: An ex-cop who was fired from the force because someone he arrested got out and killed his wife. Dean is an established actor with a number of independent films under his belt. 

• Clarrisa Velasquez as Stacy: The nerd/hacker of the group. Velasquez is a newcomer to the industry. 

Bounty is planning to premiere in the Fall of 2024 and is currently negotiating with streaming platforms.  The gritty police procedural is produced by WHEG LLC and created by Derryl and LaSanya Williams.
